But there really is a pandemic, and it's already here.</p><p>Have you noticed that there is less uniqueness in things these days, especially in taste?</p><p>Everyone does the same thing.</p><p>Everyone is wearing the same thing.</p><p>Everyone is trying to do the same thing.</p><p>We are all starting to look like copycats of one another.</p><p></p><p>But how did we get here?</p><p>The people we subscribe to influence us, and they are influenced by the same things.</p><p>The internet makes you think what you saw, or what seemed to like, is actually yours.</p><p>You start wanting to feel like a certain person, to be like them, to carry their energy or aura.</p><p>Then comes the pressure from the internet to try something you genuinely do not like.</p><p></p><p>Slowly, you start outsourcing your decisions to someone else's takes.</p><p>The more you continue, the more you outsource decisions, even for smaller tasks.</p><p></p><p>You start making decisions based on what someone said, and not on what I want or I need.</p><p>You start losing trust in yourself.</p><p></p><p>Then, a few years later, if you're self aware, you struggle to find your way back to yourself because nothing just seems to make sense anymore.</p><p></p><p>Your life starts to feel like borrowed experiences, and everything feels disconnected from your soul.</p><p></p><p>Maybe that's the pandemic.</p><p>Not that everyone is becoming the same.</p><p>But that we're slowly forgetting how to become ourselves.</p>]]></content:encoded></item></channel></rss>
